LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players and is frequently compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular basketball player. His future NBA career was hyped up by the media. He was in the process of becoming a professional and was the first selection from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. He was named one of the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the top players in the NBA and was awarded an NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010. James did not win the award with Cleveland, and departed the city as a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced in the TV special The Decision.
