Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for many years. He is most famous for his roles performed in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". From the time he was in university Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television have earned him plenty of popularity. He has the ability to portray each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. This is what has made him so popular. He portrayed the role of a serial murderer in his first television series project and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. Multiple times he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. The most striking of his facial traits is believed to be the sharp blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who are rough and charismatic. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
