Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's cuisine is a means to explore her life. The curiosity in her grew after she left for the Long Island suburbs to explore the diverse culture of Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas coexisting in the same dish is her belief. The dishes she serves share a single concept, that is embracing the moment while reminiscing fondly on the previous. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, was well-received since it was in the spirit of her Italian tradition. The old-fashioned Italian rendition is widely regarded as to be one the Los Angeles' most captivating dining establishments. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent dishes at Scopa it is a local favorite. The patrons call it authentic and satisfying. Lofaso had been an apprentice to culinary masters, absorbing their techniques and taking risks. She never hesitated to do so to follow her own intuition.
